“Outstanding results are merely the consequence of a daily decision to do things properly, even when no one is watching.” — WEM Insights, Diana Janošťáková, Head of Operations
„WEM“ is not an abstract brand. It represents the experience and dedication of the people who shape, guide, and lead it. Getting to know them also means understanding who stands behind Wealth Effect Management — even if, as in the case of Diana Janošťáková, it’s someone who quietly works in the background to ensure that everything important remains invisible — simply because it works.
Here’s Diana:
Your favorite quote — one you live by?
“Outstanding results are merely the consequence of a daily decision to do things properly, even when no one is watching.”
It reminds me that the biggest difference — in life and in work — comes from consistency, not impulsive motivation.
On the other hand — a popular quote you dislike or disagree with?
“Follow your passion.“
Why?
In an environment where you make decisions involving millions of euros, there’s no room for mood swings. What truly matters is not passion. It’s discipline, reliability, and the ability to do what needs to be done — every day, without excuses.
What is the right approach according to you, then?
Don’t follow passion — follow responsibility. When you do important things long enough and well enough, passion naturally follows as a side effect.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned from WEM clients?
From years of experience with HNW and UHNW clients, I know they value time, precision, discretion, trust, and peace of mind. They don’t seek noise or glitter. They expect that:
- Their time will be used meaningfully and efficiently
- Decisions will be prepared flawlessly and in advance
- Communication will be clear, factual, and discreet
- We will act without needing reminders
- And in a crisis, we won’t hesitate or improvise
Their respect isn’t earned by those who entertain them — but by those who don’t burden them.
They won’t tolerate chaos, delays, excuses, or unprofessionalism. Not because they’re impatient, but because they know exactly what their time is worth.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from your colleagues at WEM?
I love working with fast, smart, and hard-working people — and that’s exactly who I have on my team. The people you work with influence everything — from speed to quality of results. Since WEM’s departments are closely interconnected, I’m constantly learning something new.
In one sentence — what sets WEM apart from the competition?
From attitude to outcome, you can feel the same character throughout. It starts with the owner, who lives by the values he passes on to the team — and it shows in every decision we make on behalf of our clients: precise, discreet, and respectful to those we serve.
